Rod died on Thursday 26th December 2024 on his 77th birthday. A much loved husband of Yayoi, he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. 

In Rod's memory we would like to raise money for the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team. Rod's love of the Lakeland Fells began in childhood with many family holidays spent in Grasmere and the surrounding areas, and there is a real poignancy that his first Lakeland Fell walk over Grisedale Hause would also be his last.
